COMPANION ANIMAL SCIENCES INSTITUTE ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

This Agreement is between Companion Animal Sciences Institute (the “Institute”), operating out of 1333 Rainbow Crescent, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1J 8E3, and (the “Student”) The Agreement is effective upon the Student’s acceptance into the Institute.

1. Obligations of the Institute

1.1 Provide course notes, assignments, and instructor support.

1.2 Grade assignments and communicate results with guidance.

1.3 Issue a Certificate or Diploma upon successful completion.

2. Student Obligations

2.1 The Student agrees to:

(i) Meet admission requirements (high school completion, English proficiency, age 18+).

(ii) Obtain required course materials.

(iii) Follow Institute policies, including professionalism in interactions.

(iv) Meet deadlines for assignments and maintain backup copies.

(v) Refrain from plagiarism or cheating.

(vi) Assume responsibility for interactions with animals during coursework, ensuring safety and welfare.

2.2 The Student understands that:

(i) Passing all assignments is required for graduation.

(ii) Refunds are not provided under any circumstances.

(iii) Course materials are for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Tuition must be paid in full before commencing courses. Extensions are available for a fee.

4. Liability and Indemnity

4.1 The Institute is not liable for damages arising from the Student’s participation in coursework or interactions with animals.

4.2 The Student indemnifies the Institute against claims resulting from their actions.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Course materials and content are the intellectual property of the Institute and may not be reproduced without consent.

6. General Terms

6.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

6.2 The Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties.
