Over time, we revamp programs of study. This page identifies previous, but no longer available programs that may function to confirm the certificates and diplomas earned by students. To confirm the credentials earned by a CASI graduate, please feel free to contact CASI directly. Some courses may vary in the programs below. They have been adjusted to reference current courses where applicable.

Certificate Programs

Our Certificate programs, the Cert.CBST, the Cert.FBST and the cert.PBST programs were 5 course, 200 hour programs as opposed to the present 3 course programs until recently. These programs were composed of the following course:

Diploma of Animal Behavior Technology (no longer available)

This was a 3 year program of study in animal training and behavior consulting, that is, the technology of behavior. This program is similar to the current Diploma of Animal Behavior Science and Technology except that whereas the current program includes species specific courses in birds, dogs and cats, the older Dip.ABT program did not contain any species specific courses and was presented as species independent.

Diploma of Advanced Canine Behavioral Sciences (no longer available)

This was our most advanced 4 year program of study in professional dog training and behavior consulting, that is, the technology of behavior. This program was replaced with the Diploma of Animal Behavior Science and Technology in order to make it species independent and allow for a greater range of specialization options as well as to make it more time intensive and less expensive.
