Lauren Dube lives in San Diego with her family of rescue dogs. Lauren recently completed her studies in Advanced Canine Fitness and Nutrition and graduated with distinction. Lauren also holds dual degrees in Accounting and Psychology with an emphasis on behavioral science. Lauren has been active in the rescue community as an evaluator, intake coordinator, board member and founding member of two rescues located in Southern California. Lauren is a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and has been working with canines for over 15 years. Her emphasis is on abused and physically handicapped dogs. Lauren volunteers her time to Labrador and Friends rescue in San Diego and also to Pawsitive therapy dog training for handicapped individuals.
Over the past 8 years Lauren has branched out into some alternative modalities. Lauren is a canine massage therapist with certification in general massage from Equissage, Kinaesthetics ™, and studies in Bowen therapy. Lauren is a Reiki Master-Teacher and she owns All Creatures Energy Therapies. Lauren is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (www.IARP.org) and International Alliance for Animal Therapy and Healing (www.IAATH.org) Lauren owns a Yahoo listed dedicated to training and natural health for dogs, she co-owns an herbal list for all animals and she moderates a home cooking and holistic dog yahoo group.
