Course Description

This course looks at some of the unique considerations required for special populations. It looks at brachycephalic breeds and how their facial structure may influence their performance as well as how obesity needs to be addressed when designing a fitness program. This course also examines conditioning for performance events and how age affects exercise and fitness.

Another unique aspect of this course is its look into some situations that might influence a dog's ability to exercise and/or an owner's ability to exercise their dog. This course is evaluated by means of written assignments.
