Course Title: Adoption Processes - 234

Credits: 3 (Approx. 42 work-hours)

Instructor: Molly Stone, CDBC; Dip.A.B; CC-SF/SPCA

Course Description

This course builds on the behavioral assessment course and explores various perspectives and approaches on matching individual dogs with individual adopters. The dog has been evaluated and the data has been interpreted. During the adoption interview and post interview process, the adopter candidate is evaluated. This course explores how to evaluate potential adopters and then how to match dogs with people to maximize the probability of a successful integration of the dog with their new family.
